When "credit card was declined" appears while processing an order, it means that your credit card issuer/bank has declined the transaction. Usually, a quick call to your card issuer/bank will clear this up.

How long will it take to receive my purchase?
Please allow 3-5 business days to process your order and 2-3 business days for shipping. Please allow an additional 1-2 business days for framed maps, Texas art and flags. Occasionally our suppliers are unable to deliver to us on time and we cannot fulfill your order for certain items. We try our best to update our online inventory to note specific items that are on backorder. Due to order volume, sometimes this is not possible. You will be advised of any out of stock item when you place your order.

You may purchase with confidence at Legacy of Texas. We certify that all items are guaranteed as described. Any purchase may be returned for a full refund within 14 working days as long as the item is returned in new condition and has been packaged and shipped correctly.

I only received part of my order. What do I do?
Some orders will be sent in separate packages. In order to offer our customers a vast collection of books, artwork, and other merchandise, we have partnered with several vendors across the country. All maps, prints, and unframed art is shipped separately in a tube to help ensure your purchase arrives safe and undamaged. If your artwork does arrive damaged, please contact us. Additionally, your order may have been shipped from separate warehouses and in these cases will arrive in separate packages. Typically, these packages will arrive within a few days of each other. If more time has passed, or you are missing items, please contact us directly.
Are Legacy of Texas maps reproductions or originals?
All Legacy of Texas map reproductions are produced from the original historical map using state of the art scanning technology and equipment to capture the craftsmanship and detail that went in to creating these maps. When framed, our historical map reproductions can easily be mistaken as an original. All maps are printed on acid free heavy bond archival paper which protects against fading and paper degradation.
What is the quality of your flags and how do you manufacture your flags?
All Legacy of Texas flags are cloth stitched, crafted by hand and have been aged to give their antique look and appearance. Our Explorer edition (27" x 31") flags feature metal grommets while our Legacy edition (43" x 31") extend edge to edge of frame. All flags are framed with an elegant mahogany finish and matted with glass. Hanging hardware is included and pieces are delivered ready to hang.
